Which land border crossing points in Cambodia are open to do a visa run from Pattaya?

I'm on a 30-day visa waiver program, already got a 30-day extension once and now I need to do a visa run as I'm reaching my 60th day in Thailand. I'll drive my rental car from Pattaya.

As far as I know you can't drive a Thailand rental to Cambodia. Rental company regulations, insurance, drive side, and border police will not allow it. You can drive to the border and then take a taxi or bus on the Cambodian side. I have been to Cambodia 2x in October for tourism. The crossing was very easy just ignore touts unless you do your internet homework. Understand the real taxi/bus prices then you can negotiate. I crossed in Chom Chong but that won't be convenient for you. Drove to border, parked in a fairly priced parking lot with Thai military security. Then a short walk or motorbike to immigration. Took a van to Siem Reap. Don't know much about other crossings.

all borders are open, closest is Pong Nam Ron. Ban Pakard/Phsa Prum about 3 1/2 hours from Pattaya
drive to the border, park, have lunch at the casino, walk back to the border.
sometimes Cambodia will hit ya with a 300 baht fee if ur not staying the night

Phu Nam Ron is not open. All land crossings with Myanmar are still closed to foreigners due to security concerns.

As mentioned Ban Pakard/Prum is an option. Also good is Ban Laem/Kamrieng. In both cases, the walk from the Thai to the Cambodian side is not onerous. Read the other threads cited by Jack.

He didn't say Phu Nam Ron.

The two crossings Ban Pakkard and Ban Laem are in amphur Pong Nam Ron

โป่งน้ำร้อน on highway 317 which runs northwards from near Chanthaburi city to Sa Kaeo.

Pong Nam Ron also has an Immigration office.
