The government has informed the family of the thai girl who died in the Itaewon crush on Saturday night, that she is entitled to compensation of 50,000 baht to cover funeral expenses plus 15,000 baht pension. 


S Korea said it would cover the cost of flying their daughter's body back to Thailand. The family had been prepared to borrow 400 thousand baht to cover those costs. 

 

Four people were killed and six women were injured after a public minivan drove over a traffic island, and smashed head-on with a larger truck on the opposite side of the road in Chonburi. the truck driver was apparently thrown  out but then crushed by his own vehicle.
