In total 253,000 vials of vaping fluid were seized along with 4,000 smoking devices.

Torsak said that information about a consignment arriving in Thailand had been received by the Office of the Consumer Protection Board reported Thai Rath.

The gang were sending the packages in the mail made to look like other products.

The fluid and devices were to be sold online via a Facebook page called "thisissaltsofficia" and a website with a similar name and an instagram account.

He was named as Santi Thanormsap, 23. He was caught in possession of 13.5 million baht's worth of items.

Anyone know the official reason vaping is illegal here ?

Tobacco Authority of Thailand (Thailand Tobacco Monopoly)

Electronic cigarettes

Electronic cigarettes have been outlawed in Thailand since 2014. In mid-2019, the prime minister reaffirmed his pledge to keep e-cigarettes banned. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said that, "...the government cannot simply consider the economic impact...E-cigarettes will impact people's health and place an extra burden on the country's health-care budget". He went on to say that the Public Health Ministry should work harder to educate the public on the health effects of vaping, while officials should crack down further on the illegal sale of e-cigarettes.
