Some fifty teachers and children were at the school in Ban Sang district preparing for a sports day. Suphap, 52, a teacher, said they had tried to secure the grandstand as the storm started but it proved impossible and everyone took cover in school buildings. Picture: Siam Rath That meant there were no deaths or injuries. Four sections came loose and blew into houses adjacent to the school nearly hitting a nearby shop.
