The Thai embassy in Nepal is arranging with Nepalese authorities to return the bodies of two female trekkers back to Thailand.


The two aged 49 and 37 apparently were taken ill and died on Friday while making their way down from a pass to a small village at an altitude of over 4,200 meters. 


Their bodies were taken for an autopsy over the weekend, two other thai trekkers were also taken ill but recovered.

 

The association of digital television broadcasters complained to the NBTC broadcast regulator over the distribution of world cup matches, 34 of the 64 matches are carried by True4u TV which other tv operators claim is unfair and against the policy of the NBTC to share the matches across all domestic TV channels.
  
 A Court has accepted a lawsuit filed by a member of the Medical Council and several MPs in a bid to remove marijuana from an official list of controlled substances.


The minister of health said in  his opinion cannabis cannot be reverted back into an illegal narcotic drug.


Opponents say the current situation has led to widespread use of marijuana for recreational purposes.

 

One man was arrested in Phuket  after allegedly slashing his father’s neck with a sharp a knife, officers arrived to find the fathers body and his son beside him. The motive is unknown, the son was taken away by police.
 

Thai researchers say the high speed railway that will eventually run from China though Laos through Thailand will be the backbone for international trade between the two countries, China and Thailand agreed to build a more stable, prosperous and sustainable China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Malaysia has extended The deadline by 24 hours or until lunchtime today for political coalitions to present their numbers to form the government and propose their prime minister candidates to the national palace. The deadline extension was due to requests by heads of parties.

 

The  Australian economist Sean Turnell who was released from jail in Myanmar last week said it was a tragedy for the people to be ruled by the military junta, whom he called “knaves and fools.” Mr Turnell was among 4 other foreign nationals released by the military.
