OUTCOME - called the number on the ticket and, basically, told them it wasn't my vehicle. They took the ticket number, presumably did some checking and called back 10 minutes later.

 

"Ticket cancelled. Sorry". No evidence requested to refute it, nothing except to say "It wasn't me, Officer".

No idea if its going to hard or simple... turns out very simple...  

 

Its good to know the result...  I suspect the fines just get sent out by a computer and AI didn’t quite get the number plate right.

Thailand is incredible how some simple things can become extremely convoluted and what we think may be convoluted, to our surprise are extremely efficient... such is the enigma that is Thailand.
