Social Media 4140
Middlesbrough moved into the Championship playoff places for the first time this season after coming from behind to defeat 10-man Blackburn 2-1 at Ewood Park. Rovers went ahead in an even first half thanks to a cool Ryan Hedges finish in the sixth minute, vindicating Blackburn’s ploy of targeting the visitors’ high line. owl sees all 12429
Boro had slightly better stats. 1-2 probably the right result. Both the Sheffields are on a decent run. Biggest shock was Luton beating QPR away. Have to look out for The Hatters. Huddersfield and West Brom also playing well. 18k at Ewood - 26k at Hillsborough. Good crowds in these times. Have some notable recent league scalps. 8-0 v Wednesday 8-1 v Man City. Didn't Boro lead the league under Jack Charlton, and look like they could win? I'll check that out.

owl sees all 12429
Brum 2 - Baggies 0 A comfortable victory by all accounts. What has happened to WBA? They went storming up the table, and now they have hit a brick wall. Hannibal Mejbri scored a very good goal. Don't ya just love his hair! On loan from United. Cute name too. Seppius 815
Not much going to stop Burnley, they were class against Norwich last week, even if Tim Krul gave them the perfect start

Luton are a tough nut to crack. But crack them they did yesterday. Boro looking good.
owl sees all 12429
Good win by the Hornets last evening against the Baggies. Very good, exciting match, by all accounts. Not too many people know that WBA won the league, the first season after the war. And have not won it since. Although they should have took the title in 1953/54, but had an absolute disaster at the death.
