June 30, 200718 yr I have UBC in BKK and if they get rid of ESPN I am dead.... Of course I only watch it once or twice a week but it has what I justify the 2000 baht for..... If my F1 goes, I go with it..... Can anyone give a senario for what satelitte package you are actually using, where and aprox cost. Thanks in advance
July 1, 200718 yr I think ESPN has the most expensive licensing cost of all the cable channels, but there are not that many subscribers who actually watch it. Thais aren't really interested in the sports that ESPN has, and soccer matches from the UK and Europe get more viewership. Perhaps this is the reason why it's being pulled. I for one don't watch the sports channels at all.

July 1, 200718 yr I have a Dynasat move dish (20,000 baht). I can view channels from many different satellites. Some satellites come with different packages which are possible to get a subscribtion to here in Thailand. ESPN is carried on many different satellites subscription services. Although, there is an option avaliable where you don't have to pay the subscription for one of the satellites that carries ESPN.........but we're not allowed to discuss the details of that on this forum.
