Thailand’s Public Health Ministry has this afternoon adopted four measures that will be applied to ALL tourists visiting Thailand, including from China. The announcement follows news that the Chinese Government would travel restrictions on their citizens on January 8.

317 die, 2,437 injured on Thai roads during 7-day New Year holiday

A total of 317 people were killed and 2,437 others injured in 2,440 road accidents across Thailand between December 29th and January 4th, according to statistics provided by the Department of Public Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and related agencies.

Thai Baht set to continue strengthening as Asian economies to benefit from China’s reopening

Thai Baht, which in October was trading at around 38 to the US Dollar has strengthened to 34 to the US$, and the Thai currency is likely to continue to see strengthening going into 2023 as the Thai economy continues to recover and China’s reopening to help sustain recessionary fears from the west.

A WOMAN who had parked her car at a well-known shopping mall for a couple of hours was shocked at being being hit with over 6.5 million baht parking fee but this later turned out to be an error by the payment machine, Sanook.com said.

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Royal Thai Navy’s third amphibious transport dock ship, also known as a landing platform dock (LPD) ship, was ceremoniously launched on Wednesday (Jan 4) in China at the Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard near Shanghai.
