"Hey guys, look, this farang buy ganja at that store in soi Buakhao"

(Legal today, U-turn tomorrow, not legal anymore, and bib know previous buyers)

"This farang is in soi 6"

And so on ....

Goodbye Privacy.

I don't visit any of the examples, but I value my privacy.

If you value your privacy do not take your phone with you when you

leave your house, remember having your sim card registered?

"Goodbye Privacy"was a long time ago already.

People are easy to find these days.

Turning the "Location" setting to OFF should eliminate most problems with apps.

Turning "Airplane Mode" setting to ON should eliminate all other concerns.

Puzzled by how Chinese tourists will help the economy. They are generally shy in my experience and don't drink much because they get drunk very fast. What does Pattaya have that Chinese families want? Are they famous for spending in Thai shops?

They go to 'the island' and buy cheap plates with their pic on...

Pattaya has sea food. They go to Larn, occupy the entire beach, ruin it with speedboats constantly coming and going, and fill up all the restaurants.

We shouldn’t blame the Chinese people for the china virus , it was their government not the people , same as the Iraq war ,it wasn’t the uk and us people who started it ,it was the US and UK government

What is so hypocritical is that the Thai Authorities changed the entry restrictions, initially, so as NOT to discriminate against the Chinese, then basically removed them when the knew they were losing a lot of money, now they are discriminating for the Chinese, so positive discrimination.

Thing is over the last couple of months its been the Chinese in the news, with corruption, Chinese gangsters, Chinese mafia, Chinese run casino's etc?

Usual Thai logic?

They will fit into Thai Society  quite  well  then.

As I have only been to China 3 times then it is just my experience. Maybe the Chinese I met were not the same as the ones you met?

Dude, you do not know Chinese people.

All you have done is repeat stereotypes of Chinese people.

Me?  I have over 25 years of corporate business experience in China working for US and European multinationals.  I have run business units of over 4,000 headcount Chinese employees with western management.

I am fluent in Mandarin as well as can understand Cantonese and Shanghainese, where I regularly conducted business meetings in both English & Mandarin to negotiate contracts,  implementation as well as institute recovery plans if needed.  In an earlier time, I would be called a "China hand".

So you've been to China three whole times huh?

You got the job, when can you start?

My company owns factories there. The people who work at managerial level are polite and a little shy. It just means you've never met nice people there and like to show off so they don't like you. What to say?
