webber4
Hello, I have an METV and planning to stamp 2nd entry soon. I was wondering if it's possible to cross the friendship bridge/Nong Khai (first Thai immigration exit, then Laos visa on arrival process and entry) and come back immediately to Thailand (Laos immigration exit, Thai Immigration entry)? or do i need to spend 1 night in Laos for whatever reason? also is it possible do apply for Laos visa online and present it at the border instead of waiting in line for the visa on arrival? Thank you!

KhunBENQ
Possible since long. Did it in July 22. Can't comment on visa, I am visa exempt. At the time no checks for COVID vax. In the meantime there were reports that Laos checks vax. status. I am not up-to-date on that. Edited January 18, 2023 by KhunBENQ

The last couple of times I did it there was no queue for the visa on arrival, just a couple of other people so the whole process took only ten minutes.
