The Chinese business man Tuhao and 40 others have been charged with multiple drug offenses, money laundering, operating illegal business, possession of firearms and other illegal activities.

The charges stem from the investigation into the illegal activities of Chinese companies and seizure of over 5 billion baht in assets since Tuhao gave himself up last November.

 

The Singaporean man arrested at phuket airport on Monday has denied charges of being involved with a fraudulent forex ponzi scheme.  Daryl Younghui said he would provide a written statement within 15 days, 

His wife, a Thai Italian model, will face a charge of sheltering a suspect.
