Thailand Deports Uyghurs Despite International Asylum Offers

Thailand has deported 48 Uyghurs to China, turning down asylum offers from the US, Canada, and Australia. This decision, reported by Reuters, took place despite a decade-long detention period and concerns from UN human rights experts about the safety of these ethnic minorities.

He was a Colonel in the KGB engaged in suppressing anti-Communist groups in East Germany. Hardly an example of noble soldiering. He's trained as a lawyer.
