Canceled Part B Medicare with form 1763

So if you maintain a US address Medicare Part B is automatic unless you mail in the cancelation form beforehand. 

Because of income it was going to cost $230./mo I faxed in form 1763 and had part B canceled.

Correct 1763 is the form

But keep an eye on them/your account

Took me two tries as they continued to try & bill me.

 

They also really work on trying to scare you  into keeping it ????

I called the local office in NV yesterday to confirm they received the 1763 form and I'd be getting my full check this month. The online account confirmed this.

 

On the form they want an explanation as to why you don't want Part B, I was able to keep my insurance when I retired so no explanation of staying O/S was necessary.
