BANGKOK, Feb 3 (TNA) –  Kawiporn Vinijthaopatom, the owner of aminal shelter in Saraburi is featured on Hershey’s chocolate bar wrapper as she was recognized by the leading chocolate manufacturer for her dedication to take care of thousands of stray animals.

 

The 73-year-old woman was contacted to share her story and participate in the campaign to honor inspirational women on the International Women’s Day in March.

 

Kawiporn, also known as Aunt Tim, the founder of the CHSAThai Stray Animal Shelter said she was happy to be part of the campaign as it would draw attention from people to help stray dogs.

I had one that was enough, dirty, drooling nasty things and social pests barking and crapping all over, not to mention attacking people when they think they can get away with it. You can't even eat them in case they have rabies. Thailand would be a far nicer place without mutts scratching and limping about all over the country in their millions.

Being a mutt lover does not make you a better person and feeding strays does not make merit for you

Social media is full of pro dog propaganda, not every one is a lover of filthy, noisy, pathetic dogs, so fair game to to have a go back at these vermin and their delusional owners who actually think their mutts 'love' them. Try stop feeding them and see how much they love you ????

There is a massive difference between a well loved and cared for pet dog and a soi dog that is on its way to becoming feral

Right, very 'loving' animals that attack about 400k people in the USA alone each year and kill several. Here there are millions of soi dogs, how can that be if they as so 'loving' that people want to get rid of the pests?

don't  think the post was bizarre at all, the poster was referring to soi dogs not nasty, drooling, crapping and barking well loved dogs.

people have owned dogs long before social media. 

love is a strong word. whether dogs have the capacity 'to love' is debatable.

maybe most human beings lack the capacity to love. 

yes, you have to feed it. and it forces you to actually care about sth other than yourself.

That sounds more like an issue with the owner than the animal. 

It is highly debatable whether or not there is any sort of merit in feeding and prolonging the lives of stray dogs. 

 

However, this is obviously a very kind woman, with a big heart. And there is nothing wrong with honoring someone like that. I like it.
