globalThailand
Hoping this is posted in the right thread. I'm travelling back to Thailand this summer with wife and son. My son (dual nationality) Thai passport expires in '24 but we're not sure if we'll all be back next year to renew. Is it possible to apply for a new one when you still have a year to go on the existing PP?
couchpotato
Yes. Just go to PP office and renew as normal. Old one is cancelled, even if still has validity. It is 10 year validity now if applicant is over 20, otherwise still 5 years. 1
