NativeBob
What exactly was it? - Cash? Wire transfer? What currency? - humanitarian support in the form of "Sardines and Crackers"? - Few tons of rice: jasmin, brown, grade C? - Thoughts and Prayers Obama style? Seriously 5M even in $ still is ridiculous. PS: Yesterday they pulled little kid who spent 76 hours under debris. Horrible!

Almost 200 countries in the world, if all gave 5 million baht it would a good amount. Thailand also sent a team of workers there to help find the people berried in the rubble. Good on you Thailand!!! kickstart
They would be better off sending a few plane loads of rice, especially to Syria, with the political situation in the country, they need more aid than Turkey. Or medical supplies to Syria only 20% of the people they are getting any aid.
