Sanook Thai Caption: Full on collision

 

Sanook, along with a couple of videos, reported that gangs of young foreign migrants were engaged in battles in the Bang Plee area of Samut Prakan in central Thailand.

 

A Laotian man on a motorcycle was hit and killed. A Cambodian man was injured.

 

Bang Plee police had received reports of shooting then the collision in Soi Thanasit outside a convenience store as combatants fled the scene.

 

New, 20, was dead at the scene in a pool of blood.

 

An 80 cm sword was recovered. A Honda Wave was under the wheels of a pick-up.

Wan, 20, a Cambodian was taken to hospital with a chest injury. Two caps were found some distance from the accident.

Earlier fighting had erupted outside a restaurant.

 

Four to 5 shots were heard as a chase ensued.

 

Several men armed with swords in a pick-up got out to continue the fight but seeing that a man was dead they got back in and fled.

 

Another pick-up was also at the scene.

 

Police are studying CCTV to determine what happened.
