Somebody please explain why, in the US, the people can vote with a majority for a Presidential candidate, but that candidate can lose, through something called "electoral congress" or some such thing. Not much different from Thailand, innit, where a majority win by the popular people's vote is summarily dismissed and someone else gets to lead the country! -

Those who fell for marriage, how do you cope knowing you've ruined your life?
I chose to not get married in Thailand. Reason: a. Failed marriage to a white girl in the 1970s. b. Failed marriage to a Hong Kong girl in the late 1970s. c. Long-term GF relationship from 1993 to 2013. She was NUTZO. d. Live of Riley, beginning in 2013, after dumping the GF in Taiwan, and moving to Thailand. No hassles. No jealousy issues. No need to tame the shrews, either. Follow the Teachings of Shakespeare, is my best advice. -

Addiction
You can easily pull apart the 50 mg tramadol and knock out a little bit of the power. It won't be and exact amount but you can certainly lower the amount you take. Also you can dump out the entire capsule and cut the power into 4 or 5 approximate size piles. Again. won't be exact be close enough. You can then either add the small pile to water/soda and drink it down or to totally avoid the taste or buy some empty gelatin caps and put the power into that. There have been many good suggestion made here. It's up to him to follow them or just keep talking about it. -

After 18 years why are my floor tiles buckling?
What is under those tiles? Concrete? Or some wood construction? Maybe the problem are not really the tiles but what is below those tiles. And to repair that could be a lot more expensive than just replacing tiles. This is just a guess. -

You are right, I approve of his actions regarding the Grooming Gangs. Happy to go on record regarding that. I also rather consider that his prosecution for contempt of court is perhaps vindictive - if he hadn't brought that particular grooming case to the public attention then it would have been buried like so many others; a touch of "who will rid me of this troublesome priest" perhaps?. I dislike his links with the BNP, the EDL, legal although to my mind deeply unsavoury groups, and (intensely) his street fighting hooligan activities (illegal) which he attempts to bring to politics.
