Veronica Licon poses for a portrait with two of her daughters at their home in San Jose. A small plane flies overhead.

Veronica Licon and her pediatrician were stumped in 2011 when her son’s blood showed high levels of lead. Her home did not contain the usual culprits for childhood lead poisoning: lead paint or lead pipes.

Paint can be removed. Pipes can be replaced. But Licon lives directly under the flight path to Reid-Hillview Airport in East San Jose, Calif.

Oh, goodness, I live near an airport and directly under the flight path.  It's not a major airport, it only has smaller planes.

Unfortunately in the US at this time a report like this one will get branded by the right-wing press as anti-business and creeping communism.

Does every topic need to descend into a left vs right wing $@#% fest ?

Grow up

Do your own test: see how CNN handles this, and then see how Fox does.  You decide on which is descending.

I have to correct myself here -- Fox may not mention it at all.
