Sangwan, 59, said he'd tried once before when high on yaba. Now he had destroyed the family home. Beung Sam Phan police called the fire authorities who had the blaze out in under an hour but by then the home was razed and nearly everything was destroyed inside. That included 12 puppies in a cage.
