Recommended Posts

The energy price guarantee will be extended for a further three months from April to June at its current level, the Treasury has confirmed ahead of Jeremy Hunt’s Budget speech today.

The chancellor will cancel the planned £500 hike in average energy bills which was due to come into force next month.

This move would see bills for the average household staying at around £2,500, instead of going up to £3,000 as was previously announced.

No, you are getting nothing.

The pension changes are a tax break for people with pension pots over £1,073,100 and those who can afford to put £60,000 per year into their pensions.

The tax free allowance has been frozen again this year at £12,570.

So help for the already wealthy and nothing for those on low incomes.
