Leaving Thailand with 1yr extension without reentry

Hello,

I have non-b visa and 1yr extension valid. I need to quite my job and go to my country asap. Can I just leave? I dont have time to cancel my extension. My company will cancel my work permit and visa as they sai.

Probably I will be back in few months but I would like to use tourist visa to come back.

Should I expect any issues on departure or in the time I would like to come back?

There is no requirement to cancel your extension. With no re-entry stamp, the extension will be invalidated upon your departure. You can then return later on the tourist visa. But do be sure to follow up and make sure your work permit is properly canceled by your employer.

Your Non B visa remains valid until it expires, no need to cancel.

 

The extension will need to be cancelled, leaving the cuntry without a re-entry permit will suffice !!
