Donald Trump's court hearing has been set for Tuesday afternoon, according to the BBC's US partner CBS News.

 

The former president is expected to fly from Florida on his private plane and hand himself in with federal agents there to protect him.

 

A grand jury has indicted Mr Trump in connection with a $130,000 (£105,000) pay-out to porn star Stormy Daniels.

I would love to see him in chains, but I don't think it will upset anyone.

Of course it's about the law, he likely violated election finance rules.  Other politicians have done similar and accepted, he won't because he thinks to be above the law.

Trump has said he wants to be cuffed, so don’t give him what he wants.

 

It’s of no importance at all.

 

Once arraigned, Trump will be under arrest, he’ll be finger printed and have his mug shots taken. He’ll then be put before a judge.

 

From the moment he surrenders he will be under the control of the Justice system.

Trump said he was "indicated."

Nothing criminal about that. So remain at Mar-a-Lago. Then he can complain about the resulting socialist arrest warrant.

Trumps looking like being cooked in both NY State, NY city, and Federally.

 

The judges all across the States are denying him his usual delaying BS and admonishing him in open court for his ludicrous filings. His inner circle of White House people has been ordered to appear for depositions which means he is almost done, and he knows it!

 

The jury in NY would not have indicted unless there was enough weight of evidence of a crime and a reasonable pathway to conviction.

Simple as that.

 

He's also looking like being cooked in Fani Willis investigations, and he knows it. This conviction will likely see his entire business in the US ended (he won't be allowed to have either himself or his children as principals of any company or subsidiary).

This will (except for perhaps Putins channels of or Mid East funds) see him as persona-non-grata in the world financial system and unable to do business. 

 

Trump also knows he will be legally crucified when the Master prosecutor Jack Smith indicts him (and this looks extremely likely), because he knows he (despite being an sociopath and an idiot at the same time is finally coming to understand he is seen for what he is and has done) and that Trumps lawyers are not even in the same suburb let alone field as Smith.

 

From this Federal court proceeding, if indicted there and then convicted of the high crimes, will literally see him led away by Federal Marshalls to Federal prison when Smith is done with exposing Trumps seditionist and treasonous J6 and Mar A. Lago obstruction theft and conspiracy of Top, and Super Secret Documents.

 

Smith it is said (by other Masters of the Law) will lay out Trumps treason and espionage, 'leaf and branch' to the entire world.

 

The BS Tweets, Trumps pals at OAN, Fox News and his crook families outrage won't mean squat if these convictions come down.

Please the gods they do. Then the rest of those who stand with his treason will be arraigned in court too.

Not entirely true, precincts are given a degree of leeway on what to release.

I really can not begin to understand how you can keep defending a two-bit snake oil salesman who has conned tens of thousands of people and companies out of billions of dollars, and who saw the American presidency just as one big grift opportunity. Joe Biden, on the other hand, has served his country for decades.
