A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly deliberately driving his car into parked vehicles outside a Patong massage shop. According to a number of media reports, the man was involved in a conflict with the owner of the shop. Four people were injured and four vehicles damaged in the incident, which happened around 8.00pm on Monday evening.

The Phuket News reports that the incident was captured on someone’s phone and widely shared on social media. The driver is now in police custody, facing multiple charges. He has been named only as Panudet, also known by the nickname “Manao”. Police have not revealed his family name.

According to the Phuket News report, at around 6.00pm on Monday, Panudet received a call from an employee at a massage shop owned by Chatchanan ‘Patty’ Charoenjai. It’s understood Panudet and Chatchanan have been involved in a long-running feud, with Panudet having previously reported Chatchanan for allegedly slapping him across the face, for reasons unknown.

another good advertise for TAT "Thailand is a very safe place, while in Patong, make sure not getting a massage" if in Pattaya avoid cabs/taxis as you may (involuntarily) get in the way of a dispute.... besides similar daily occurrences  Thailand is safe place  555

Safe? Ha. I was in Chalong Villa Market a couple of days ago when a Russian swaggering around ended up in a bloody fistfight with an Eastern European. Trashed the shelves and sent the staff screaming before the blood started flying. Took over 30 minutes for the cops and ambulance to turn up. The hospital is literally over the road from the supermarket and Chalong police box 5 mins slow walk.

Welcome to Phuket.

Probably still safer than inner city London, Portland or chicago !

Been mugged twice in my life, once in metro Manila and once in Blackheath, south London.
