Non Immigrant O Visa

Featured Replies

Sick of me yet?  Haha.  I'd like to convert from my current Non Imm. OA Visa to Non Imm. O Visa.  As far as I can tell I need to use TM87 for this?  Is a TM86 required also?  Further, I'll provide copies of PP etc.  Has anyone got a list of specific requirements I need to fullfill and take to the Imm. office.  I'm a fairly dogged researcher but have found scant info on the net.

Thanks to all.

Also, for retirement, Canadian and I'm 67 currently using 800K in bank.

You cannot convert.

You need to exit Thailand without reentry permit.

That kills off your non O-A.

Then you have two options.

Obtain non O retirement at a consulate.

Vientiane is popular.

OR ...

You enter Thailand visa exempt (border bounce) and obtain non O at your Thai immigration office .

I did PM you a comprehensive Guideline document on how to do exactly that > getting rid of your current Non Imm O-A Visa or extension, and then apply for a Non Imm O Visa for reason of retirement.
