If meaning the length of the rear overhang vs front, along with short wheelbase, then yea, that doesn't look right at all. No wonder driver lost control with a rear blow out. Looking a bit more normal: 1 1

Definitely give you a pause for thought. Was in a bus to CM that had a front blow out ... no drama, just came to a rolling stop (at night) but was the last interprovince bus I ever rode in.

I am surprised a rear tyre blowout would throw this on its side, as a coach driver for 30 plus years I only had 1 rear rapid deflation a lot of noise and damage to the rear arch but pulled up straight and no big panic.

Robin Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Tyre blow-outs do not happen with tyres in good condition and properly inflated; Tyres in Thailand sometimes (often) used until bald or worse, or treads recut on a bald carcase. Saving money in the best Thai tradition. if it was good enough to pass the annual inspection, then it will be good enough for the rest of the year. Controlling the bus after a blow-out is much down to the skill of the driver, so should we be surpised at this result?
sammieuk1 Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Looks like Phoenix bus tours where buying a return is unnecessary ????
