As usual Thaksin talks a lot and then he is a coward.

He never had to leave Thailand. He could have returned any day since (I think) 17 years.

He could have shown up in court and he could have explained to us why he is innocent.

He didn't. He knows he is guilty. And he knows he will be arrested on arrival.

This is why he just talks and doesn't come back.

He could have just done his two years way back when and this would be water under the bridge.  He wouldn't be the first Thai politician to serve a sentence as finding ways to send political enemies to prison seems to be a hallmark of third-world and developing "democracies."

Yes. And sometimes they are actually guilty.

Come Sunday, caretaker deputy prime minister Wissanu Krea-ngam will be unemployed.

Maybe he knows something we don't?

Mind you if Global Nuclear Armageddon were to befall the planet two life forms would survive: cockroaches and Wissanu Krea-ngam as Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand.

Possibly a third, that fellow Meesuk could also emerge from the rubble to write a new constitution!

Why can't any of you simply list the criminal offences that you believe Thaksin to be guilty of (and supply links to supporting evidence)?

You guys never ever ever answer that one simple question, never.

What on earth do you think you are achieving by posting falsehoods?

Nobody believes the nonsense.

No one.

So why do you bother... why do you choose to remain factually incorrect and at odds with reality?

It is obvious to everyone that you guys also constantly ignore the wrongdoings of Prayuth and his junta buddies because, again, the truth doesn't fit your bizarre narrative.

Thaksin and Yingluck and Thanathorn faced trumped up charges because they were electorally superior to the unpopular anti-democracy minority. The courts were / are rigged and do not deliver justice - only a fool would submit themselves to their judgement.

What are you going to do with yourself now that Thailand is a democracy and the military are to be forever banished to the barracks?

Not holding my breath. Sorry.

They wanted him to 'run away' when they gave him permission to  leave the country for a sport event.

His sister made an escape worthy of the Scarlet Pimpernel when she escpaped to Cambodia from a heavily guarded house when she was supposedly facing serious crimes in the Courts.

If the current lot are arrested after the election they will find they can sidestep justice too.

He and her didn't have to do what "they" wanted. And they had many, many years to return.
