Do you think it's going to 100% tax free living in Australia, also? -

Identification now required to make a cash deposits at Thai Banks?
Dasa used bookstore requires picture ID if you want to sell them your second hand paperback. Thailand is very serious about money laundering. Now, if your friend donates you a handful of Rolexes, that's a different story. -

Australian Aged Pension
That's the way I read it, and has been said by tax professionals. The aged pension is not exempt under the DTA. That's it. Happy to read any other links etc. Article 18 relies on the provisions of Article 19, and Article 19 is about government service pensions, not the aged pension. True, and I haven't heard of anyone earning a passive income in Australia being taxed in Thailand also, including myself. Why do you think they want to update 90 year old laws? The TRD won't miss their chance to make "something" out of this. As said before, it could be as simple as 1000 baht for a TRD certificate for the annual extension, and have nothing to do with the correct amount of tax one should pay. It could all end up being laughable. -

An Asian girl to die for?: Definitely. Definitely one of Brando's more interesting films.
Here is a very strange FACTOID: According to IMDB.... Kathrine Hepburn was originally asked to play the part of Hana_Ogi.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, she turned down the part. Instead, luckily, Miiko Taka was chosen to play Hana Ogi. She was perfect for the part. BUT, IF Kate Hepburn had been chosen to play the part of Hana Ogi in Sayonara.... Then, I think it would have been equally good to have Godzilla play Hana Ogi..... I guess we all recall Kate Hepburn in The Good Earth, trying to play a Chinese Woman....with her fake slanted eye(s). Such a gruesome sight! Such disfigurement !!! So gruesome !!! Godzilla, the Jap Monster, was prettier than she.....!!!!! Sayonara ... Sayonara ... Gamma Goodbye..... -

The Moka Pot thread
I used to have 2 Moka Pots from Shopee, 250 each. Very flimsy. They lasted 2 years each. Then I bought Pedrini, at Emporium, 750 b. In the second year now, and they certainly will last 6 years. As for the coffee, I still have a lot of Illy, cheaply bought in Europe. -

Pit Bull Attacks & Kills 67-Year-Old Woman Cycling in Pathum Thani
Yes, we always get this lie, Pit Bulls XL Bullies and other muscle bound killing machines are bad breeds, thats why they are banned in some countries. They are not safe to be kept as pets, any more than a Lion or a crocodile is.- 1

Sick dog
You might try talking to one of the local charities like WVS Thailand. they have a place near the night safari. their primary purpose is saving animals and I have notified them of animals in distress previously who they have saved and rehabilitated. I am sure they would be sympathetic. -

Voter registration is spiking, particularly among young adults
Voter registration is breaking records as Election Day approaches, particularly among young people, many of whom are first-time voters. On Tuesday's National Voter Registration Day more than 150,000 people registered through Vote.org, the most the organization has ever seen on that day. The organization registered 279,400 voters in all of last year. Last week, 337,826 people visited a link posted on Instagram by pop star Taylor Swift that directed them to their state's voter registration site. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/09/21/young-voter-registration-breaking-records-swift/75306021007/ Thanks, Taylor Swift? -
