Not always fireworks... Drone Light Show in Jomtien

Perhaps something interesting for the next weekend? Just found this in the German "der-farang.com". I can't see fireworks anymore. Have seen too many here in Pattaya. Perhaps this is an alternative.

Here the link to the source (is in German - sorry)

Many countries flying drones at night is highly illegal............... let alone in public area.

Makes one wonder what the Thailand air space regulators have to say about it.

Tit perhaps....? ????

Here are big fireworks. Why should these drones be a problem. The City Hall is involved in this project.

I think it is a good idea. Of course the weather needs to be perfect. Saw such shows only on YouTube so far. Looked amazing. Hope for a good show here too.

Went last night. Sat on the beach for an hour and a half with a beer and saw 2 shows totalling about 15 minutes. It was OK but not breathtaking. As it was Sunday, it was easy getting there and back on a Baht bus.

I would expect it will get better in future years as the technology advances.

They said a lot about launching the lanterns during Loy Krathong but did that stop people from launching them?

Not many aircraft in the Pattaya skies... might hit another drone though.
