True I service

Logged on today to pay my phone / internet account and log on as normal, it comes up asks me if I accept sharing my information amongst other True companies and their affiliates. Not knowing who said affiliates are (people they are selling my information to?) I declined. Had a option to opt out but when you pass it takes you back to the login screen ie you can't login unless you accept. The whole time I am doing this and going off my dial there are Lazada pop up ads coming up. In the end just used the app on my wife's phone to pay. I had the same thing happening the other day reinstalling apps etc to another phone. Have to be so careful accepting this and that and they are actually getting better at hiding this stuff in amongst legitimate permissions you need / want to approve. Seems to be the way of the world now and I find it all quite scary. No better than scammers. And talking of pop up ads, this site is not any better...The pop ups now whilst using a PC practically are making the site unusable. It's like they are pushing the envelope as far as they can to cram as much advertising in as possible...and see how many subscribers they lose.

I totally agree. I’m gonna win this site. Had very few advertisements now every time on the bottom of my screen pops out ads. It gets very annoying. TIT

So use an ad blocker such as 'AdGuard'.

A lot of sites will refuse to work if there is a pup-up blokker.

Advertising seems to be a "pest" of these times and we will have to wait until the governments stand uo and forbid the use of collecting background information without your approval in the base that it is an infringement of your privacy rights.

Europe is already making such a law.

My experience is that I have never had a site block me for not allowing pop-ups, I occasionally have one that wants my add blocker turned off . So either I don’t visit the kind of sites you do or my blockers have better technology than yours.

In which case there is nothing to stop you from disabling the adblocker for the sight you need to use.

Yes, I accept that  an invasion of privacy is more than an inconvenience, unfortunately at present we have to live with it, until governments world wide do something about it.
