hotchilli Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 If one is to presume the mini-van stopped immediately at the scene of the accident it makes one wonder what the motorcycle rider was doing on the wrong side of the road?

If one reads the article one would know your presumption to be incorrect. 2
Popular Post metisdead Posted May 15, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 15, 2023 From the linked article: A witness, Mr. Jeerasak Kanwilaikun, 75, who is a food seller at a local grocery nearby, told the Phuket Express that the minivan driven by Nattapong was driving at high speed and crashed into the motorbike driven by Korkuea. Typical minivan drivers, they just feel the need for speed. 2 2

Maejo Man Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Being rear ended by a speeding mini van is not the way to go!!

The motorcycle rider didn’t die after colliding with a Mini van. ... The motorcycle rider died after the speeding mini-van collided with him.
Maejo Man Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 You can see the bike has had a massive rear end shunt in the link.

I wonder whether a good helmet would have made a difference in this case. There is on of those plastic lids on the floor in the photo in the linked article... but that doesn't mean he was wearing it, it possibly just ‘came out of the basket’.....
Maejo Man Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Possibly as his head seems to have crashed into the windscreen.
