There are few parallels really. For a start Meghan (as far as we know) is not publicly "setting her hat" at a besotted grocery store heir, who dumped his fiancée to try and score her, and using him to  tease the paparazzi and lead them a merry dance, in an attempt to regain the attention of a well known highly rated surgeon for whom she had the hots.

Add an evening worth of drinks and some stupid high speed driving, oh and no seatbelts, into the mix and you have the wreck in the underpass - which she would have survived if she was wearing a seatbelt.

Sorry if this offends, but the truth sometimes is unpalatable.

There is a very easy solution to such a problem: Drive slowly! There is no such thing as a slow-moving catastrophic car chase.

If they're civilians and they aren't being pursued by dangerous people who wish to harm them, they shouldn't be involved in any sort of "car chase", given that that means they would be driving dangerously fast in order to try a "lose" whomever was perusing them.

You answered your own question: Because they are 'entitled' (in the self-centred sense of the word).

They weren’t.

There’s a video showing them in traffic with police cars behind them with sirens on.

When the traffic moves they go straight on at the junction and the police turn right. The police were stuck in traffic behind them, attending to another issue.

Nobody was troubling them in the video. It’s more fabricated drama.
