RAZZELL
Apartments are owned by a single entity and can charge what they want. Then again I have lived in a condo where the electricity was more than the Government rate. Ask,
Crossy
Yeah ^^^, condos are usually (but not always) government rate. Apartments are privately metered and so can pad the bill (there are official limits but ...)
OneMoreFarang
In condominiums each unit gets a bill from the electricity company. When I rented a condominium, I received the bill with the name of the owner of "my" unit in my mailbox and I paid that. I don't know if this is standard procedure or if it is also possible that if you rent that the owner pays x but asks you to pay x + a.
scubascuba3
Apartments often 8 baht a unit, sometimes 10, condos around 4. If newer condo will have better AC units
