Blinken should run for president,  he is the perfect candidate.

How about Senator Kelly from Arizona?  Seems a balanced and reasonable man.

John Tester from Montana?

Governors Bullock or Bashear?

  • President Trump is not a criminal as has not been found guilty of anything, despite 6 years of persecution and false charges, media lies and now set up in a poll! They must be really scared of him.

Not to mention, Biden also has NOT tried to foment an illegal insurrection against his own country and its established rule of law.   That counts as one pretty big positive in my book.

That's certainly her public line now.  But "if" something were to happen to rule Biden out of the race, they would need to act fast to avoid getting stuck with Kamala Harris.  Michelle might the only way to pacify those who feel the replacement has to be a woman of colour.   She'll be persuaded, when her country needs her.

Not a chance.

I also reject your assertion that Harris would automatically be the replacement nominee.

If he decides not to run it'll be an open contest.

A violent attempt at overturning legitimate election results, which fortunately failed.  That's not leaving voluntarily, that's leaving after all other options have been exhausted.

Trump had not quite subverted the rule of law enough to stay in power.  I'm sure he will be better prepared if given another chance.

Trump did tell all his supporters to remain peaceful and he did tell them to home home when things became a bit rowdy .

It was just a legitimate demonstration that escalated and some of the demonstrators over stepped the mark a bit

A gross distortion of reality.

Kelly needs a different haircut and Tester looks like he had a bit too much bacon ???? ????

I disagree. The Democrats are all about equity, diversity, all that crap.   Kamala would be the presumptive nominee until removed by a primary process.  If it gets late in the game and Joe can't go, then she is your nominee.  There would be hell to pay if the party establishment tried to remove her.

Very late in the game maybe. But that would be because of a health crisis.

Possible but unlikely timing.

Earlier a fully open contest.

You have to look through that rambling nonsensical tirade about a stolen election and "fight like hell" carefully to find the one use of the word "peacefully".

Trump watched the ransacking of the Capitol for hours on television and ignored all those telling him to call of his mob.  Only after it was clear that the mob wouldn't successfully prevent the certification of the election or hang of Mike Pence did he tell his followers to go home.

The demonstration became illegitimate as soon as it breached the police lines.  That would have been the time for Trump to call them off.

Okay, suppose Biden has a health issue that prevents him for running, who would be a good replacement candidate for the Dems?

Whoever would come out ahead in primaries that would have many competitive candidates.

You are placating again your own interpretation on what other posters write. It's not what was meant, as the reply from the poster shows.

But, love conspiracy theories. You have nothing.

It's not a conspiracy theory, It's the observation that he always acted/voted in a way to helped his own business. There is an obvious conflict of interest there.

I guess when you've got nothing, better to deflect by attacking the source..

Actually the Salon story was  derived from the NY Times article which was also linked to.. But I suspect you'll dismiss that the same way without looking at the facts reported.

There are facts in the two articles linked. If you disagree with the reality of the facts mentioned, feel free to indicate which ones.

There are also plenty of other references available, such as:

Trump sat and watched the action on TV according to testimony from many people in the White House. He waited hours after they invaded the Capitol to tell them to go home. Despite entreaties from many, including those at the White House, he refused to call for the National Guard. And because he had done nothing wrong in all of this and had nothing to hide, he subsequently denied he had watched the riot and instead claimed he was in meetings.

How convenient (by which I mean ridiculous) that you consider the stated shortcoming of your preferred candidate (the senile, totally corrupt Joe Biden) to actually be a strength. And that you quote as an example of your point Noam Chomsky, friend of Jeffrey Epstein.

Why do Trump's poll numbers rise each time he's indicted?

Why do Trump supporters ask questions based on false assumptions?

Maybe because, if you are a Trump supporter, falsehoods are what your support is based on?

It seems everyone hates Trump except the voters responding to the polls. Biden, is the exact opposite, not many like him, don't want him for a second term, he's dropping in the polls as is the VP (no surprise there)

Who cares?  Biden will win a second term.  Assuming Trump will be the GOP nominee.
