At approximately 9:00 PM on June 19, 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Uthen Promprom, an investigator from the Suvarnabhumi Airport Police Station, received a report about a person who had fallen from the second floor of the passenger terminal in Suvarnabhumi Airport, located in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, reported Sanook.

According to witnesses, the injured woman walked out from Exit 4 and proceeded to Exit 3 on the second floor before climbing over the metal railing and falling down to the first floor in the passenger pickup area, where she sustained severe injuries.

Authorities are currently grappling with uncertainty regarding the precise circumstances that led to the foreign woman's fall from a considerable height.  CCTV footage will be examined, and the woman's background will be investigated to notify her embassy and contact her relatives for further proceedings.

very sad indeed, hope she recovers

point worth mentioning - 2nd floor sounds not too high - this is not a condo or hotel 2nd floor, it is a miracle she survived a fall like that

There have certainly been a number of foreign men who have attempted/committed suicide at Suvarnabhumi over the years, usually jumping from the 3rd or 4th floor on the day of their departure flight, but I can't recall any woman doing the same. I hope she's ok.

Yes one doing some stunts on the railing before jumping in full light of many travelers.

They then installed those glass walls at the bridges.

Its not the fall that kills ya, its the sudden stop!!

Hmm… i seem to remember a guy falling from the second floor a couple of years ago to kill himself which he did successfully

Pffft.....if it's not a proper kerrrsplat, it's just the nothingburger of the day.

Was she going back to Austria and decided she'd rather die than go home?
