to ease travel from the world's largest outbound tourism market.

Read that initially as "to ease travel from the world's largest outbreak".... which was about right, in 2020.

And this is why you have the triads rushing in to Thailand. Cut corners on visa issuances. And this is why we're all now being forced into facial recognition updates at our Thai banks. At least that i

*small processing fee for that*  ????  discount for cute china dolls

Do you give discount for Hispanic-Asian dolls like ????????‍♀️?????????

And in the other news of the day is  a Chinese thief stealing Louis Vuitton bags.

You can't make this stuff up.

Stuck in the dinasour ages.

Get with it and issue easy online Visas.

Other Asian countries have been doing it for years.

They are already here, thousands of them , you got to remember the population factor, and they love each other, no other nationality cuts the mustard with them, they do not blend in with other cultures,  they feel they are superior.

I saw an old Chinese lady at a hotel buffet try to take all the shrimp for herself poke it on the plate then not eat it the staff had to throw it out!

With repect, only if you are staying in a Chinese owned hotel. Check hotel ownership before booking - I did! Nowadays when visiting Thailand I still use those Thai family owned establishments.

They don't have to be Chinese owned, they just make and agree contracts with them.

One time you stay there and rhe next time you visit, the place has totally changed and involved on the accommodation side with agents doing zero dollar tours!

Were there any pens (on strings) left to fill out arrival cards, or were they all ripped off (again)?

I met a family of Chinese quality tourists at a Bangkok mall two years ago. They couldn't find a restaurant there (even though there were dozens), so just in case they had brought their own lunch in tupperware...

There is no Chinese tourist what the hell are they talking about why don't you talk about it when the Chinese return at the moment there's no Chinese traveling anywhere outside of China

They did a visa free deal with Russia years ago and don't care how many Russian crims get in. So why not China.

Possibly the potential numbers involved.....10x the population? Plus a close proximity.

Just what we need, zero ฿ tourists to Chinese hotels, Chinese restaurants, Chinese tour buses etc and the list goes on. Heads out of the sand please.

Over 500 billion baht spent in Thailand in 2019 by Chinese visitors, the most, by far, of any country.   Not exactly 'zero' baht and a good reason why Thailand wants them back
