some potential problems with ozempic:

- not designed for weight loss alone

- can cause muscle loss

- will likely regain weight when you stop using it

- can cause problems with pancreas?

sorry to sound like the grim reaper, but there's 2 or 3 Ozempic threads on this forum.

and Ozempic is making the news recently, but not for good reasons.

it's under investigation by various health agencies for leading to depression and suicidal thoughts.

The  bigger problem may be that this is just the latest slimming fad.

There were amphetamines, there was fen-phen in the 90s, people died from these things,  but it took many years until they were taken off the market.

The Economist recommends to put the whole of humanity on Semaglutide (I am not kidding, they even put it on their cover IIRC) - can you imagine a better way to make money? All humans lifelong on Ozempic?

And  can you imagine a bigger perversion? Substitute food by American junk, and then put the people who ingest that junk on medication?

We are talking trillions of dollars here,  no wonder Elon and the Economist are excited.

there are always some potential risks with pharmaceuticals.

some dogs died from licking some medicine in the form of creams off their owner's bodies.

i just put on a bit of weight, but will try to get it back down the old-fashioned way. blood, sweat, and tears.
