Thailand’s Constitutional Court has requested an update on a petition lodged against the Move Forward Party and its leader, Pita Limjaroenrat. The petition was filed by Theerayut Suwankesorn, over MFP’s policy to reform the country’s lèse-majesté law.

Phuket Old Town street makes list of world’s most beautiful streets

Phuket’s Soi Romanee has been named one of the 20 most beautiful streets in the world, according to the website, Seasia Stats. According to a Lifestyle Asia report, the Southeast Asia-based news site recently posted a list of the world’s 20 most beautiful streets and Phuket makes the grade.

Thai Police arrest woman for million-baht cyber scam

A 44 year old woman was arrested by the cybercrime division of the Thai Police today for her alleged involvement in a fraud operation that lost victims over 1 million baht. The operation comprised a gang operating call centres, which conned their victims into revealing sensitive banking information. The call centres duped victims by pretending to be bank employees or police officers.

According to a recent study by the Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO), this disparity has been fuelled by multiple factors, including the move to a digital economy, an ageing society, post-Covid-19 economic recovery speed, and the burning issue of climate change.

Nonthaburi police shut down major underground gambling den, arrest 49

The case arose after an investigation by the Lottery Department, which included examining the original stubs of three books of tickets. International Cruise Ships Highlighted as Major Contributors to Thai Tourism
