There is a female dog which lives up the road from me but often comes in for a visit. I have known it since it was a pup, it is about one year old now and never had any pups, it has mixed with other dogs all over the place.

What are the chances of it still being able to have pups, or is it unlikely now?

She may not have had her first season yet, but if not, it won't be much longer. Will her owners allow you to get her neutered? The last thing Thailand needs is more puppies.

Female dogs first come into season for the first time between six and twelve months of age, but it can vary. I'd say there's every chance that she'll start producing soon.
