If you are carrying oils, edibles, or any type of extract then this may cause issues, and should be avoided. Also if you are trying to carry very large amounts of cannabis then it would be best to have the receipt on hand so it can be properly traced to a legitimate source in the event you run into any trouble. While there is no clear law yet prohibiting this it would be smart to not push the envelope. Don’t come on here talking sense ☺️ 1 1

Popular Post bamnutsak
This has been a frequent topic in this sub-forum since liberalization. And it always seems to result in heated debate. Until Cannabis flower is potentially re-criminalized it is legal to possess, including on domestic flights. cannabis domestic flight site:aseannow.com It is legal, on DOMESTIC, intra-Thailand flights only. (like the OP's itinerary) Cannabis flower specifically. Other extracts/concentrates > 0.2% THC would be prohibited. “Passengers who wish to bring legal cannabis or cannabis products on domestic flights are advised to pack it in their checked baggage. The reason is that cannabis items carried on board must be inspected by staff from the Narcotics Control Board and would cause a delay during security checks.” The Office of Narcotics Control Board will still undertake inspections of “cannabis items” at security to ensure that no extracts with high levels of THC – which are illegal – get on board. https://thethaiger.com/guides/cannabis/can-i-take-cannabis-on-domestic-flights-in-thailand Edited July 1, 2023 by bamnutsak 2

If you have the proper origin documentation you should be fine, but expect to be hassled. https://weed.th

I don't think the OP is talking about bring with him from another country. It is perfectly legal to take with you on internal flights within Thailand. Done it a number of times and no one has tried to arrest me for it. 1

We should call the news papers. I carried 50 grams last time and was actually drug swabbed on my bags for cocaine, of course nothing was wrong and they smiled when I opened my bag and the smell of fresh flowers was so obvious lol. I said its ok right, she said yes.

Rahil
I just carried, and since the country is legalised, u can travel with it regardless of it being international airport. Last week I carried from BKK-Samui

Hokeus
Legal or not, I wouldn't hand carry any in a carry-on bag onto a domestic flight simply to avoid a potentially unnerving/uncomfortable experience if questioned about it during the baggage check process. If one must transport it with them though then the more sensical approach would seemingly be to place it inside a piece of checked-in luggage.
