Biden slammed after report reveals number of grandchildren his aides instructed to say publicly: 'Monsters'

President Biden is facing backlash from conservatives following a report that his aides have been told to say publicly that he only has six grandchildren, omitting Hunter Biden’s 4-year-old estranged daughter.

The president’s son, Hunter Biden, settled his child support case in Arkansas last week, ending a years-long paternity dispute over his 4-year-old daughter, whom both the president and the first lady refuse to acknowledge as their seventh grandchild.

Announced in a court filing on Thursday, Hunter agreed to give his daughter some of his paintings, and the mother of the child, Lunden Alexis Roberts, agreed to withdraw her counterclaim to change their child's last name to "Biden."

The New York Times released a damning report Saturday saying the family dispute is rooted in "money, corrosive politics and what it means to have the Biden birthright."

And what has this to do with us politics ??? He has fronted same opinion as his son before the ruling. Move forward us, stop acting like adult kindergarden, and consentrate on politics..

The media, unsurprisingly, is being completely oblivious about this.  His unrecognized grand daughter is the blood of his blood and flesh of his flesh. Just as much as any of his other 6 grandchildren

There is nothing in the OP to support the statement about 'Monsters' and The NYT Report is not a 'damning' report.

Previously Fox tied itself into knots when a comedian commented about Barron Trump because of the given tenet that minor children should be off limits.

Hannity blamed the Dems for this and said it was a line even he would not that cross.

This article is Fox's usual gutter politics trying to demonising Joe Biden, without any facts.

The media, unsurprisingly, is being completely oblivious about this.  His unrecognized grand daughter is the blood of his blood and flesh of his flesh. Just as much as any of his other 6 grandchildren. Yet he showers affection and forgiveness on his 'wayward' son (understandable for a parent to do so). And completely ignores his second youngest grandchild.  Hunter goes to state dinners, Navy eats government cheese.

It's despicable and utterly unnecessary. Navy was hidden during the election campaign in 2020 because it might impact Joe's chances, but now? Unforgivable.

Hunter Biden was paying $20,000 per month in child support and now had the payments lowered to $5,000 per month.

"The Post was first to report the settlement last week, with a source close to the first son saying Roberts had agreed to a reduced monthly payment of $5,000 from $20,000. Roberts lawyer Clint Lancaster declined to confirm financial details of the settlement, which were not disclosed in the court documents filed Thursday — though Hunter did agree to pay Roberts’ attorney fees and court costs as part of the deal.

The government was providing cheese to a child who was getting monthly support payments of $20,000? Now that is a scandalous waste of government resources.

Ya think maybe he's adopted this course because of the stress it might put on his son, who, as a recovering addict, is susceptible to relapse?

No.

How could having a relationship with his child harm any recovery he is doing?  Not to mention, hell at least a Christmas card from the grandparents would be nice.  It seems like a political strategy to deliberately freeze her out and keep any more scandal away from the family.

Really? You don't see how that could affect him? Willful blindness.

And please, stop playing the violin. You think this 4 year old girl is pining for attention from Granma and Grampa?

I forgot to ask you...what kind of government cheese was she eating? Given that her child support payments were $20,000 per month, I imagine her mother could afford to feed her genuine French Roquefort. How could the government compete with that?

Seems like the president has been ignoring this grandchild since before the presidency. I fail to see what this has to do with being president as it is a personal matter.

What don't you understand about the gravity of the situation? As Hanugama pointed out, it's all about the "government cheese", that apparently poor little Navy's mother forced her to eat while getting $20,000 per month in child support payments.

No, it is about the moral turpitude of ignoring a child merely for the sake of political expedience.

What a load of <deleted> Fox is desperate to recover their ratings why pray tell aren’t they talking about the Republican front runner blabbering top secret info?that’s serious stuff instead they try to create strife with some personal family issues in the Biden family just stupid low brow dumb stuff

It might ‘seem’ to be lots of things, including rightwing faux outrage.

Like when did the rightwing care about kids ‘eating government cheese’ beyond the cost to the government of the cheese?!

Fast morphing into rightwing hypocrisy.

Our pres is a class act alright. How is including Navy as one of his grandchildren harmful? Ole uncle joe is lacking character, that's for sure.

Let’s see you are talking about a man that lost his wife and daughter managed to take care of his injured boys wlst grieving that loss then losing another son to brain cancer ( most likely service related) trying to be inclusive and reaching across the isle in spite of all the (censored) thrown at him for the good of the country and you say moral turpitude really?

This is just abother right wing bubble FAKE issue, and obviously a personal matter, but the way I see it is that Biden is supporting his son's stance on the status of that child. I don't see that he has any real choice.

Nonsense. It's actually the opposite of political expedience. What would work better for Biden's image than playing the fond grandfather to the child that Hunter Biden neglected.

It isn't fake. The girl really exists, and the President really is her grandfather.  And he really ignores her. And if it is true that he gave such orders to his aides, that speaks volumes about him.

Do you think even one vote will be changed by this fake outrage manufactured garbage?

Wow, the New York Times generates fake outrage manufactured garbage? Who'd have thought...

Is it really so hard to admit Biden's moral failings?   Sacrificing a child on the altar of politics?  Seems pretty low.

In case you didn't actually read past the headline, the entire Fox report is based on a story from the New York Times, link provided;

So yeah, is the New York Times a bastion of fake news now?

Can you point to where the NYT report says 'Monsters' or 'damning'?

This is like getting involved in tabloid journalism, 'tattle-tale' news rags, and Lakhon.
I.e., a waste of time.  I don't care about the slimy underbelly of the political class
