Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said Tuesday that it will take 3-4 days to clear the Luang Phaeng Road in Lat Krabang of the collapsed segment of an overpass, because each piece of the structure weighs between 30 and 40 tonnes.

A drunk man who terrified residents by firing gunshots at night in Thalang, north Phuket, has been arrested. The Phuket Express reports that the man, named only as Mr Muan, was arrested in the sub-district of Sri Soontorn on Sunday night, July 9.

Illegal scallop fishing operation smashed in Trat, culprits face legal proceedings

The Department of Marine Resources arrested several illegal fishing culprits, seizing 3 kilogrammes of scallops in Ban Pred Nai, Trat Province. The suspects’ boat and fishing tools were subsequently handed over to investigation officers for prosecution according to the law. This occurred today and was actioned by the Marine and Coastal Resources Office 1, in cooperation with the Marine National Interests Conservation Command Centre in Trat.
