SA KAEOW - On July 14, Sa Kaeo authorities apprehended a Vietnamese woman, Luong My Hanh, 51, at the permanent border crossing in Ban Khlong Luek, Aranyaprathet district.

She was arrested under a warrant issued by the Southern Bangkok Criminal Court, reported 77kaoded.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Rung Thongmont, Chief of Sa Kaeo Immigration, revealed that they were coordinated to track and arrest the defendant under the said court's warrant.

The successful operation involved multiple officers and investigation teams from the province's immigration department.

Hanh is accused of committing theft at night, as stated in the warrant numbered 631/2566, dated July 5, 2023.

After her apprehension, she confessed to the charges and was escorted to Surin police station for further legal proceedings.
