I like Thailand's' position. why meddle with America's war? Ukraine is basically an America's proxy war. The UK and many European countries are vassals of America. They will kowtow to their master America (and I'm a produce American for that). China and India are independents. They will never kowtow  to America or Europe. America and Europe needs India and China to access their market. Let Thailand maintain its neutral stand and profit from the situation. Don't be so obnoxious. Just because a person doesn't buy your pro Kremlin lies doesn't mean they haven't studied the history and situation. I have personal roots that are both Russian and Ukrainian. You're on the wrong side of history just as Nazis were. 

 

Thailand's decision is obviously based on economic self interest. If the west decided to play hard ball and extend sanctions to "neutral" countries, Thailand would likely have an attitude adjustment. I'm not suggesting that the west do that though.

Yeah but those that flee need to have a way to support themselves, not to mention visas. They're not all IT whiz kids. Which does indeed mean in many countries there will be an increase in Russian overstaying and illegal working. A good percentage of course just run out of money and go home to who knows what.

Can't really tell the percentages but it is a significant percentage in any country that Russians are flocking to these days.

 

As far as Ukrainians, it's more complicated. If they are fighting age men, they should be back home to defend their nation against Putin's barbarism. Others, I would think there are still places of refuge in Europe.
