webfact
A tragic accident occurred at Mae Nam Khu intersection, Pluak Daeng, Rayong, when a pickup truck collided forcefully with the rear of a tank truck The impact caused the engine block to penetrate the rear windshield, injuring the driver severely. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and extracted the injured driver, identified as Mr. Phuwadol Aumkhan, 37, from the mangled wreckage. Picture: Daily News Upon investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Phuwadol was driving his pickup truck, carrying a heavy industrial engine to deliver to a customer. He ran into a tanker truck that braked for a red light. The high speed prevented the truck from stopping promptly, resulting in a collision with the stationary oil tanker. Picture: Daily News Mr. Surasit Chaiwong, the tanker driver, aged 49, was patiently waiting at the red light, preparing to load oil at Mab Ta Phut Industrial Estate. He confirmed that his vehicle was stationary when the pickup unexpectedly slammed into it. Presently, authorities are actively conducting a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the precise cause of the accident and to take the necessary legal measures accordingly. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-07-28 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. ChrisY1
Likely using his phone....but certainly not looking where he was going. Rear ending crashes never stop in Thailand....either the drivers are half blind, and this is usual..they won't spend Thb400 on a pair of glasses...or they are totally distracted by their phone or something.... 1

brianthainess
That is not an accident, that is yet again, another dumb ass driver. How on earth do you not see a stopped tanker with extremely clear markings, extra lights as well. Or did dickhead think he could go up on the inside, like so many do.
