On July 31st, in Ayutthaya, Thailand, a horrifying incident unfolded as a jealous husband viciously assaulted his wife and her male companion using a knife.

 

The wife sustained severe lacerations and contusions on her face, resulting in a distressing and blood-stained scene when the authorities arrived at the couple's residence. The presence of the knife near the crime scene served as crucial evidence, reported Daily News.

 

The homeowner, Somkid, aged 51, confessed to the crime, admitting that he acted out of jealousy and anger towards his wife, Wanna, aged 46, and her friend, Aoat.

The attack happened during a late-night drinking session at a stone table in front of their house. Somkid, unable to tolerate the close bond between Wanna and Aoat, lost control and violently assaulted his wife.

 

The police have arrested Somkid pending further investigations and medical examination results to pursue appropriate legal charges.
