1st of August today, and I went to make my usual monthly payments.

Krungsri is insisting on a selfie before I can make a payment,

KTB authorized the first payment, and then refused others, although they did accept one or two small ones.

Then I couldn't pay anything with Kasikorn because I'd already transferred it into the other bank accounts which weren't paying out!

I had heard that selfies were coming in, although I understand that foreigners can't always get recognized without a Thai ID card.

Does anyone knowledgeable have a comprehensive list of requirements for each bank?

SCB (but I think the limits are general to all banks)

Limit to 50,000 per transfer, 200,000 per day without the photo thingy.

Photo thingy not available to foreigners at this time.

You can get an "exemption" by calling the helpline which removes all the limits, but "you are responsible for fraudulent transfers", some have reported having to sign a disclaimer, I didn't.

Some other banks are actually doing the photo thingy for foreigners.

More info. here (not just SCB so worth a look): -

Krungsri requires a photo they scan your passport photo then they take a pic of you but my pics don't match so now I can't transfer more then 49000 baht and that's even between my accounts with same bank. Waiting for bank to open and either use my thai drive license or cancel the pic request
