BANGKOK (NNT) - As tourist demand continues to surge, airlines in Southeast Asia are gearing up for an extensive expansion of flights. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) predicts a full recovery of the airline industry in the fourth quarter of next year, with pre-Covid levels expected to return by 2025.

The secretary-general of the Move Forward Party has apologised to supporters for being unable to form a government. Chaithawat Tulathon addressed the media after the Pheu Thai Party announced its departure from the 8-party coalition previously led by MFP.

“The Masterpiece” campaign to normalise breastfeeding

The first week in August is World Breastfeeding Week, so UNICEF Thailand is launching a social media campaign called “The Masterpiece”, to raise awareness about and emphasise the importance of breastfeeding, after a UNICEF survey found that only 29% of new mothers in Thailand exclusively breastfeed their babies for the first six months of life, which is below the Global Nutrition Target of 50% by 2025.

DOH to Propose Three Major Motorway Projects for Cabinet Approval

Kaeng Krachan National Park Closes Two Areas for Recovery and Safety

BANGKOK (NNT) - Kaeng Krachan National Park authorities have announced the temporary closure of two popular areas, in a bid to allow natural resources to regenerate and ensure safety during the rainy season. Park officials said Phanoen Thung Mountain and Mae Saliang Creek will be off-limits to tourists from August 1 to October 31.
