Not according to the polls which everyone here loves so much (as long as they're favourable).

Not sure if you've noticed but his indictments are strengthening him.  Why?  Because so many see the indictments as political persecution and election interference.

The bridge has not been burned.  People are still crossing over.  To Trump.  That includes independents, blacks and Hispanics.  You can deny that if you wish.  Even the MSM has admitted the fact.  To their chagrin, I might add.

Christie is joke.  I don't know how else to put it.  Emerson College has him at 9%.  Do you understand how weak that is?  Why?  Because he's a joke, a RINO, a globalist, and a political parasite.  What more reasons does one need?

The polls are strengthineng his core base he’s not gaining new people naaa I’m not buying it

What polls are you looking at?  Nearly every one that I've seen has Biden leading....or statistical tie.  Look for yourself, in the general election categories....

How so?  Trump is the strongest candidate against Biden.

For now. In the general election let's see how Trump's appointment of Justices who cancelled Roe v. Wade works out. Dobbs hasn't exactly been a major success with the electorate so far, has it. And then there are his lies about the election being stolen. He doesn't seem to be able to stop airing them over and over and over. How did candidates who ran on the claim of the stolen election fare in the 2022 elections? I recall some people on election night preemptively gloating about the imminent Republican electoral wave. They vanished after the results came in.

If I were y'all I'd worry about not having Trump in office.  Unless you've enjoyed the last 2-1/2 of epic destruction.  Trump's the only Republican candidate who can halt and reverse that destruction.  He's the only man, period, who can do the job that America desperately needs in order to survive.  Why should he debate a bunch of political hacks, grifters and selfishly ambitious wannabes?  None of them can talk about their policies in detail.  Only in the form of glowing platitudes.  If you'll allow me, placeholder, I'll borrow your trademark response here:  They ain't got nothin'.

This echo chamber here is the same as the other echo chamber I just recently exited.  It's fun, but only for a very short while.

". . . real concrete progress . . . "

LOL.  Have you been to the grocery store lately?  Or the gas pump?  Looked at a new apartment?  How's your electric and gas bills?  Going well for ya?

What the hell are you talking about?

That's why people are moving to Trump.  If they're not with him already.  Real concrete progress?  On what planet?

Do you actually still believe that the 2020 elections were stolen? Trumps campaign hired 2 forensic teams to support that claim and even they came up with virtually nothing. And some news is going to break any day now that supports your belief? Got any news for us about the date that Jesus is coming back? I hear it's real soon.

Was it Trump's fault that the economy took a nose dive when he was President?

You forgot to mention that any wage increases have been completely stripped and outpaced by inflation.  Small data point but . . . conveniently left out as truth so often doesn't fit into manufactured reality.

Was it Trump's fault that Covid happened?  Geesh!   So many minor details that you seem to leave out.

2019 was one of the best years ever economically for Americans.  He created that by building over the previous two years.

It seems you're still stuck on the GOPs few talking points.  Inflation has been steadily going down since the middle of last year.  So yes, the US economy has been doing well and inflation is well under control....

Even if you take that chart at face value (and assume there won't be any revisions, LOL), and I don't without getting a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion, prices haven't come down.

Never forget . . . "Inflation is transitory" - Janet Yellen.  Sure, everything is . . . eventually.  Go ahead and trust gubmint to your hearts content.  And at your own peril.

It seems you're stuck on MSM's many talking points.  From MacroTrends.  Quick quiz . . . which of the below years was Trump in office?  Which of the below years was Biden in office?  Yes, the economy is doing "well" from it's disastrous peak.  It's like when gas shot up to almost $10/gal in certain locales, then dropped to $5 and the MSM was cheering about how cheap gas is now.  I have no idea how they fool people so well with such twisted logic.

  • U.S. inflation rate for 2022 was 8.00%, a 3.3% increase from 2021.
  • U.S. inflation rate for 2021 was 4.70%, a 3.46% increase from 2020.
  • U.S. inflation rate for 2020 was 1.23%, a 0.58% decline from 2019.

Thank you for falling into the trap and  blatantly revealing your double standards. Do you think the covid epidemic and it's effects on the economy stopped on Jan 20, 2021? Why do you give Trump a pass and not Biden?

As for crediting Trump with the economic growth during his first 3 years: Here's a chart showing GDP growth in the Obama years and the Trump years. See any sharp change in those first 3 years?

"Do you think the covid epidemic and it's effects on the economy stopped on Jan 20, 2021? Why do you give Trump a pass and not Biden?"

Because Trump made the U.S. energy dominant in oil and gas.  On Biden's 1st day he made the U.S. energy dependent.  But, no, that had nada to do with inflation.  It was the war in Ukraine.  That's right.  It was the bogeyman's fault.  Didn't have anything to do with Biden's depletion of the U.S. oil reserves, either.  A portion of which went to . . . the CCP.

Jack Smith has opened the door for the 2020 election to be litigated in court.  After all, Trump is charged with knowingly spreading false information that it was stolen.  Given the corrupt judiciary in the U.S., and the fact that ev erything is in constant flux, there are no guarantees.  I and others think the corrupt Jack Smith has unwittingly opened Pandora's box.  But we shall see in due time, won't we.

Right. 600+ court cases and I think the Trump team won something minor once. And even arch conservative justices shot Trump's cases down. I really can't believe that you, of all people, are now predicting a judicial finding of a stolen election? Would you bet your life on it?

And, by the way, calling people corrupt is in no way evidence that they are corrupt.

What don't you understand about the fact that the Trump campaign hired 2 teams of forensic investigators to look for fraud in the 2020 elections and they came up with nothing significant? Were they corrupt, too?

Once again, you advertise your double standards. According to you, Trump shouldn't be criticized for the economic disaster on his watch because of Covid. But Biden is somehow absolutely responsible for the economic problems that arose during and after covid.

If inflation was solely or mainly a U.S. problem you would have a point. But is that the case? Was Biden responsible for inflation among the G7 nations? Or the fact that their inflation problem is mostly worse (except for Japan which subsidizes consumer items)

You expect that prices should actually come down to what they were before? When has that ever been the case after a bout of inflation? The only way that's going to happen is if demand falls. I diagnose a serious case of economic illiteracy. That's not the way it works. It's the rate of inflation that's significant. And it's coming down far faster in the US than in any of the other G7 nations.

As for prices coming down. There is a nation where prices are falling. It's called China and that's a sign it's in big economic trouble. Deflation is not a good thing.

Two sentences, two blatant falsehoods.  I'm curious, are you genuinely that uninformed or knowingly lying?

"The trend line for the U.S. becoming a net exporter of petroleum began in 2006, under President George W. Bush, and continued under President Barack Obama and then Trump. The EIA said a decline in the global demand for oil during the COVID-19 pandemic finally pushed the U.S. into net exporter territory."

"More important, the EIA said the U.S. “continued to export more petroleum (which includes crude oil, refined petroleum products, and other liquids) than it imported in 2021.”

Last year, the U.S. exported about 164,000 barrels per day more than it imported, according to annual EIA data. "

  https://www.factcheck.org/2022/03/examining-u-s-energy-independence-claims/

Trump took credit for trends that were established long before he took office.  He does that a lot.

And in related news from the guy who Trump wanted to make acting general:

Indicted Ex-Trump Official's Weird 'Witches' Gripe Gets The Treatment Online

“Today witches, spiritists, mediums, those with spirit animals, and Ukrainian NPCs resumed their attacks on me,” Clark wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/jeff-clark-witches-post_n_64de19c1e4b0ce7f01200d7c

And there's this, too:

Experts Mock Jeffrey Clark's Demands To Georgia Judge About His Arrest

Politico reporter Kyle Cheney posted a link Tuesday on Twitter to a legal document from Clark’s attorney asking for an emergency stay on the charges because he wants to avoid “the choice of making rushed travel arrangements to fly into Atlanta or instead risking being labeled a fugitive.”...

Clark demanded a response by 5 p.m. Tuesday, a request that is more common for a Justice Department attorney to make than a man accused of attempting to subvert the peaceful transfer of power...

And he’s whining about making “rushed travel arrangements” even though he’s known about the reporting date since Aug. 14, when District Attorney Fani Willis announced the indictment."
